In September 2020, I was proud to be appointed to the Mill Creek City Council by my fellow councilmembers. I'm now running for a full term working for the people of Mill Creek. As a member of the city council, I listened to input from our community members, and worked to ensure their voices were heard.

My priorities on the city council are to manage the growth coming to our community, provide valuable city services, plan intelligently for traffic and city service needs, and operate cost-effectively while ensuring we maintain the character of Mill Creek.

My experience in serving our city directly began when I was appointed as a member of the Mill Creek Arts & Beautification Board. In my role there, I focused on increasing the natural beautification of Mill Creek, enhancing public property, and prioritizing the inclusion of all our community members within it. I was also appointed to the Mill Creek Blvd Sub-Area Project Advisory Committee, and I continue to provide input to the committee as a councilmember today. In 2020, I was appointed to the Snohomish County Planning Commission, where I worked collaboratively to support existing and future businesses, improve transit options and school facilities, and develop solutions to accommodate growth and housing choices.

I moved to Washington to work as an engineer for Boeing with my wife in 2012. We fell in love with Mill Creek and chose it as our home. We have seen our community grow, taking on more people, more business, and more traffic.

Community service has long been a passion of mine, including collecting and growing food for local food banks, teaching STEAM subjects and nutrition to children, community outreach for Kiwanis of Mill Creek, and more!

I live in Mill Creek with my wife Amanda and our two school-age children, who attend their local public school.
